Guardianship conundrums

The original copy of the Orders directing the Issuance of Letters of Temporary Guardianship is not quite what I was looking for, because it possibly couches some of the basis for its power in language I find to be mildly disadvantageous.  I think a few sentences need to be added to the original Order before it is filed.

I have until Monday to seek to alter that language – the Court faxed a copy of the Order they’d intended to file.  This gives me the rare opportunity to make the changes needed (since the Clerk isn’t going to file a faxed copy, and will just wait until they get the original).  This entire thing is being done based on a new philosophy regarding adoptions that I am attempting to implement in appropriate cases – if the basic end sought is restricted to only the effects of the adoption, then the sought-for effects can be achieved on their own if the adoption faces difficulties.  A fine example of this is my adoption matter involving a maternal grandmother under O.C.G.A. 19-7-3.
